I’ve worked with the Catholic Worker, spent hours in alcohol awareness sessions at the Alexandria and Arlington Jails, and worked with prisoners on my own. I also had the privilege of giving a speech on substance abuse treatment at the University of Pennsylvania. My substance abuse background is extensive.

Beyond that, I can say that I’m a team player, I think I’m enjoyable to work around, and I’m accurate in what I do. I am well read in most subjects (I read approximately 70 books a year). In 2006, I earned a Virginia eligibility license through the Career Switcher Program at George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia. My research skills came to bear both here and earlier, during my graduate studies. I was a substitute teacher (in the special education department) in Alexandria for 18 months. At present, I am working as a tutor on a variety of subjects.

T-314

2 years in physics teaching english medium.

T-313

with nine years of experience as a classroom teach both in elementary and high school up to date.

T-312

I have my AA degree from North West Florida State College and am currently working on my BA Degree in Psychology at University of West Florida. RECOMMENDATION LETTER/REFEREES

1)TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

It is with great pleasure that I write on behalf of my friends and colleagues, Mr. and Mrs. Samudra Bagchi. We taught together at the Zhoukou Normal University in 2003. I had an opportunity to observe them as they both taught and related to students informally.
They are both highly educated and capable teachers and any facility that employs them would be greatly benefited.

They were popular with the students and it was believed that they brought with them a wealth of information concerning not only the subjects which they taught, but about other world cultures.

The are the results of the best that can be produced by combining both Brtitish and Indian university education.

I shall be most pleased to provide any additional information which might be required concerning Mr. and Mrs. Bagchi.

2)To Whom it may Concern,

My name is Peter Horobin a British National and naturalised New Zealand citizenship.
I have had the pleasure of working with Mr Samudra Bagchi and Mrs Amrita Bagchi in China.
This is a character and work reference as I have come to understand this couple from both a professional capacity and a social one.
I have no hesitation in highly recommending both people as diligent, reliable, responsible and guided by ethics in their approach to teaching tasks and their positive response to integrating and worhing in a different culture, thereby creating a harmonious working and social enviroment.
I have worked at the same places of learning as these fine people, firstly the Affiliated High School of Peking University and secondly at Zhoukou Normal University from the period approx 2002-2003 and the latter being the period April 2003 -June 2004.
Their attitude towards the students,Chinese staff and other Nationals such as my self was highly regarded and professional.
I wish them every success in their chosen career.

To whom this may concern:

I am writing this recommendation letter on behalf of Samudra and Amrita Bagchi. I have known the Bagchi’s for over two years and personally know of their excellent background in teaching the English language.

Bagchi’s has been in China for the past six years, teaching at the Affiliated High School of Peking University-Henan Branch, Zhoukou Normal University , ZhongXiang No. 1 Middle School, Jiangxi City University, Nanchang , and is presently teaching at JingDeZhen Comprehensive College .

Although the Bagchi’s native language is not English, I find that their speaking and understanding is that of other American’s such as myself.

I am from California , USA and can communicate very well with Samudra and Amrita. I would recommend them highly to teach oral English courses.

If you have any questions about their suitability to be foreign English instructors, please contact me at 020-87589537 and Cell No : 13535287400..

To Whom It May Concern:

My name is John (Juan) Patrick Keefe II. I am twenty-eight years old and have served in the capacity of a professional teacher for several years, and I am writing to express my interest in teaching at your school. If you currently have positions open and are interested in evaluating prospective applicants, this letter may prove to be helpful to you. In it, I will describe my background and qualifications, as well as special skills I bring into the teaching profession.

Before I begin, I would like to assert that I am moving to China this May to marry my sweet laopo, Wang Ying Ying. She is the love of my life, and I have a strong desire for us to live closer to one another. In addition, I also believe that, while I have an extremely broad range of cultural experiences, I truly wish to learn more about the Chinese culture. Doing so will not only help me professionally, but it will help strengthen my marriage with my lovely wife.

In addition to my current, more non-traditional teaching position with the Native American population in Savoonga, Alaska, in the past I have tutored young orphans in both Colima and Serdan, Mexico. I have taught advanced English rhetoric and American politics at the tenth through twelfth-grade levels at the Kuressaare Gumnaasium in the country of Estonia. I also served there as a professor of English rhetoric at the Osilia Estonian Business School. The youngest student I have ever taught was five years old; my oldest student was sixty-nine. In El Paso I taught world geography, debate, world history, special education, English and reading—though not all at the same time—at the secondary level.

More recently in Alaska, I have taught writing, reading, social studies, mathematics, science, technology education, cultural awareness, life skills/service learning, personal/social health, physical education, career skills, and/or the Go! Program. As much as I enjoy what I do at the present time, this year I wish to move into teaching at the elementary level. I have worked with this age group extensively in the past, and I feel that I can best utilize my teaching abilities at this level. I would also consider administrative/principal position, as I possess the strong leadership skills, effective interpersonal qualities, and command of the English language required in order to be successful at this level.

When I mentioned to my colleagues that I wanted to teach elementary school, some of them asked me, "So, why are you making a ‘downward’ move? Why don’t you teach at the college level?” In my view, however, moving from the high school level to the elementary school level would be a very positive change. In the past, I have worked as a Cub and Boy Scout leader, an orphanage worker and tutor, and an independent math tutor. I have also served and continue to volunteer as a “big brother” in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program, and I have extensive experience in serving as a certified professional substitute teacher at the elementary level. As president & CEO of the International Orphanage Relief Society, I have also garnered additional essential leadership skills at the senior executive management level, and I have also had the chance to work more one-on-one with younger children. Indeed, I have always enjoyed working with the younger age levels. My students view me not only as a teacher, but also as a role model upon whom they can rely.

I am seeking to assist pupils in an educational environment where the primary focus is on providing both a strong educational background upon which students can build, as well as the implementation of character-building activities that will help students realize their roles as global citizens. I implement a variety of thought-provoking activities, making sure to include a multi-strategy approach (visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles) in order to best meet the needs of my students.

I strive to implement both traditional and non-traditional creative teaching methods. I believe in maintaining high academic standards that focus on the “whole-person” approach in building strong basic skills. While each student learns and absorbs information at his or her own rate of speed, I truly believe that all students can master skills and talents if they apply themselves and receive adequate support from both their home and school environments.

I place a high value on a supportive administration, a positive school climate where pupils enjoy learning, and working with parents who are interested and involved in their children’s education. I am particularly drawn toward academic environments where creative and effective ideas and teaching methods are encouraged, and ongoing opportunities for professional and personal growth exist. I work well both independently and in a team environment. I believe that all individuals should be treated with respect and dignity, and I highly value schools where an appreciation of diversity at all levels is actively practiced.

If I sound like the type of individual with whom you would enjoy working, please consider contacting me. I would appreciate the opportunity to serve as a teacher or principal at your school, and I look forward to interviewing with you at your earliest convenience. I have an Internet camera with voice chat, a fax machine, a regular telephone, and an e-mail address, and we may communicate in any manner you wish. I sincerely hope that you are doing well, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

To Whom It May Concern:

Are you in need of the services of a Physics Teacher or an English Teacher? Please consider this letter of my application.

I am 32 years old, Filipino, and presently teaching and residing at Xiangtan City, Hunan province, China.I finished my Bachelor of Secondary Education degree major in Physics in March 1995 at Benguet State University, La Trinidad, Benguet, Philippines.

Please be informed that I am proficient of English language considering that I have exposed to it, since elementary up to the time I finished my Bachelor's degree in March 1995, being the medium of instruction. The English language was also used as a medium of instruction during the time that I started teaching in August 1995. It was also used as a medium in all written communication and all trainings, seminars and workshops that I attended locally since I was employed in the Government Service in July 2001 up to present.

I also acted as Facilitator in some teaching- related trainings by our office such as Managing Science Investigative Activities using English language as a medium of communication.

At present, I am currently employed in China as an English Teacher. I started teaching here in December 13, 2005 and my contract will end soon.

I hope that the above justification and explanations would merit my proficiency of the English language and would satisfy the English proficiency requirement of my intent to work in your school as an Academic Teacher in Physics.

Hoping that my application would be given favorable consideration. Thank you very much.

Respectfully yours,

I am interested in applying for a teaching position, I have a very strong interest in pursuing a teaching career. With experience working at both the elementary and high school levels, as well as in activities outside of the traditional classroom, I have a diverse background with much to offer.
My first classroom teaching experience was as a volunteer elementary school teacher at Ukrainian Association of blind people where I worked for one year during my studying at University. In addition, I worked for two years in Nanning Dongfang Foreign Language School. I enjoyed working with children and careful preparation of lessons allowed me to break down sometimes complicated concepts to simple examples that my young students could grasp.
At the present time I am teaching preschool children. This position enables me to provide these students with a “head start” in mastering basic skills. I am challenged to be creative, nurturing and most of all, patient.
It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, intelligent teacher. One who will make a positive contribution to your school district. I would welcome an interview and hope to hear from you at your earliest convenience.

T-182

more than 5 years esl teaching experience.

T-181

5 years in teaching English in Ghana

T-179

17 years teaching experience in the elementary grades (Grades 1 and 2); with overseas teaching experience.
